Speaker called upon Moldovans in Israel
Speaker Igor Grosu made an appeal to the citizens of the Republic of Moldova residing in Israel, in the context of the increasing tensions in the Middle East and Iran.
The official urged Moldovans to be vigilant and strictly follow the recommendations of the Israeli authorities to protect their lives.
"We are closely monitoring the developments in the Middle East and Iran. I appeal to Moldovan citizens in Israel to pay close attention to the local authorities' recommendations to avoid endangering their lives," said Grosu.
The speaker noted that the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Tel Aviv is in constant contact with the Israeli authorities and international partners. If Moldovan citizens need consular assistance or intend to leave the territory of Israel, they are advised to contact the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Moldova.
Mutual bombings between Israel and Iran continue after a week of conflict. New strong explosions were heard last night in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, and a hospital in southern Israel was hit by the wave of rockets launched from Tehran.
