Speaker Igor Grosu participated in Civil Society Gala, an annual event organized by the EU Delegation to Moldova, dedicated to recognizing the merits of non-governmental organizations in promoting democratic values and sustainable development.
During the event, the official awarded the Gender Equality Promotion Prize to the organization Motivation, which for over 25 years has been active in supporting women with disabilities, promoting equal opportunities, and combating violence.
The official expressed gratitude for the contribution of NGOs to creating a more inclusive and fair society: "Only together, working hand in hand, will we build a fairer, more inclusive, and more prosperous Moldova," said Grosu.
At the same event, other remarkable organizations were awarded: Henri Capitant - Stronger Governance Award, Paideia from Florești - Stronger Society Award, Pino from Molovata Nouă - Stronger Economy Award, EcoContact - Sustainable Development and Green Energy Award, National Network of Local Youth Councils - Resilience to Disinformation Award.
The event highlighted the essential role of civil society in strengthening democracy, equality and sustainability in the Republic of Moldova.
