New features in EVO: Citizens can create and manage over 60 types of authorizations
EVO application will feature a new module called Authorizations, which will allow private people and legal entities to create and manage over 63 types of authorizations.
An authorization allows a person to act on behalf of another person for a specific purpose and is used to represent personal interests in dealings with state institutions. It can be granted to both individuals and businesses. With an authorization, a person can represent you in requesting services, even at a counter. To do this, the representative must present the authorization code and identity card.
“This initiative is part of the ongoing efforts of the authorities to reduce bureaucracy and simplify the interaction of citizens and business environment with the state,” the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitization said.
To designate a representative through EVO application, users need to follow several steps, including logging into EVO application, accessing the Authorizations module, creating an authorization, adding the representative by specifying IDNP or IDNO, setting the validity period and digitally signing the authorization using MSign platform.
Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economic Development and Digitization Doina Nistor said that the Authorizations module simplifies the way citizens and entrepreneurs interact with the state.
“Through a secure and efficient digital solution, we eliminate unnecessary bureaucracy and provide quick access to authorization management, regardless of time and place. This service is an important step towards achieving the goal of fully digitizing public services,” said Nistor.
"With the module, you can delegate rights quickly and easily, directly from your phone. It is a solution created for you, offering full control and safety in your relationship with public institutions,” Director of the Electronic Governance Agency Nicoleta Colomeeț said.
EVO is the government application that simplifies citizens' access to public services. It was launched on 6 June 2024, and provides access to digital documents, information about citizens and businesses, the ability to make payments for various services, and now the option for authorizations. To access all EVO functionalities, citizens need an electronic signature.
