Thirteen projects from Moldova to receive 3.7 million euros funding through Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme

Moldova will benefit from 3.7 million euros in funding, in order to implement 13 projects aimed at developing research and innovation capacities, promoting climate change adaptation and reducing pollution.

The projects were approved for funding at the third meeting of the Monitoring Committee of the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme, held in Thessaloniki, Greece, on April 9-10, 2025.

The initiatives will be implemented by central and local public authorities and non-governmental organizations.

Following the evaluation of the applications submitted under the second call for project proposals and considering the use of available Program funds, the Monitoring Committee approved a total of 52 projects (28 standard projects and 24 small projects), with a total European Interreg funding value of 46.6 million euros.
