Teachers, resident doctors and students from the Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy (USMF) have provided free medical assistance to Ukrainian refugees and locals from several host communities of Moldova.

The medical services were provided as part of the Health Without Borders Medical Caravan that took place in November and December 2025. The project was implemented by M-Legal, in partnership with USMF Nicolae Testemitanu and Moldova for Peace, with financial support from UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees)-Moldova.

People received consultations from dentists, endocrinologists, cardiologists and neurologists, as well as useful information on prevention and health maintenance. Additionally, beneficiaries were provided with hygiene and dental hygiene kits from the project's partner companies.

The project focused on information, orientation and safe, long-term access to essential medical services, representing an important step in the mission to bring medical services closer to vulnerable people, regardless of the region they are in.
