Prime Minister: Satoshi brings to Eurovision final energy, talent and spirit of generation that believes in Moldova and makes it heard around world
Satoshi brings to the Eurovision final the energy, talent and spirit of a generation that believes in the Republic of Moldova and makes it heard around the world. “Viva, Moldova!” has united people at home and in the diaspora – and tonight we are all with him. The message was delivered by Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu, who wished great success to the Republic of Moldova’s representative at the European music contest.
“In this evening, the Republic of Moldova steps once again onto one of the biggest stages in Europe. Satoshi brings to the Eurovision final the energy, talent and spirit of a generation that believes in the Republic of Moldova and makes it heard around the world. ‘Viva, Moldova!’ has united people at home and in the diaspora – and tonight we are all with him. Good luck, Vlad! The Republic of Moldova is with you,” said Munteanu.
The official noted that in this final, on the same stage, meet Moldova, Romania and Ukraine – three neighboring countries “connected through people, emotions and music”.
Satoshi, the Republic of Moldova’s representative at Eurovision 2026, will take to the stage in Vienna this evening, where he will compete in the grand final of the music contest. The artist will perform 16th, in the second half of the show.
According to the organizers, the Eurovision 2026 final will be opened by Denmark and will conclude with the performance of Austria, the host country.
The Republic of Moldova qualified for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 final following its performance in the first semifinal, held on May 12 in Vienna. Satoshi then opened the contest with the song “Viva, Moldova!” and secured one of the 10 available spots for the grand final on May 16.
