
Travel Alert in Greece over strike scheduled for October 1
Moldovan citizens who are in, transiting through, or planning to travel to Greece are warned about the onset of a strike that will affect multiple sectors, including the disruption of public transport, for a period of 24 hours. The action is scheduled for October 1, starting from the local time 00:01.
According to the Embassy of Moldova in Greece, on this period, significant disruptions may occur in road, rail, maritime and air public transport. At the same time, more sectors are expected to be affected, especially healthcare, education, and public services.
“We recommend that interested citizens gather information in advance regarding flight schedules and maintain contact with airlines and travel agencies, in order to receive details regarding possible delays or cancellations of flights,” the authorities said.
