Moldovan foreign minister receives Belgian ambassador

Chisinau, 21 February /MOLDPRES/ – Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Galbur, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration received today the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium in Moldova with residence in Bucharest, Thomas Baekelandt, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.

The two officials discussed the current state and prospects of development of bilateral cooperation between Moldova and Belgium, particularly in the context of the celebration in 2017 of the 25th anniversary of Moldovan-Belgian diplomatic ties.

It was reconfirmed and shared, during the meeting, the commitment of deepening the political dialogue and economic cooperation, but also to assert, most efficient assistance given by Belgium, the reforms envisaged in Moldova – EU Association.
