Bus heading on Moscow-Chisinau route involved in traffic accident in Russia

Chisinau, 18 October /MOLDPRES/ - The Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry (MAEIE) of Moldova had informed about the fact that a traffic accident with the involvement of a bus heading on the Moscow-Chisinau route had taken place nearby the Hardikov settlement, Oryol region, Russia, on 17 October at 19:25. The bus collided with a vehicle moving behind it.

The MAEIE public diplomacy, strategic communication and media interaction service said that, in the wake of the accident, according to information got by the Moldovan Embassy in Moscow from the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry, no Moldova’s citizens were registered among the accident’s victims.

The Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry, through the diplomatic mission from Moscow, monitors the evolution of the concerned case and is in permanent touch with the local authorities of the aforementioned Russian region.
