Republic of Moldova Presents exhibition in Brasov

Chisinau, July 3 /MOLDPRES/- Moldovan economic operators have initiated 20 contracts and agreements of intent with Romanian entrepreneurs following the Republic of Moldova Presents exhibition in Brasov. Forty Moldovan companies presented their products and services to consumers across the Prut. The organizers claim that the exhibition was a success and was visited by more than 15 thousand people, confirming the intention to make this project a traditional one.

The exhibition, now in its fourth edition was held on June 28-30 in Brasov, Romania. The Moldovan companies participating in the event exhibited their products and services in such fields as food and agricultural industry, light industry, textile, machine-building, furniture, wine production, spirits, natural cosmetics. The collective stands of Călărași and Hâncești district councils also participated in this edition.


During the three days of the exhibition, more than 20 contracts and agreements of intent were initiated between Moldovan and Romanian economic agents. Six contracts at the stage of negotiating and establishing the contractual terms were in the agro-food and textile sectors.


President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova Sergiu Harea said that Romania is a good market for expansion for the Republic of Moldova, and Brasov's potential in the Romanian economic framework is one of the most important.


The exhibition was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova in partnership with Brasov city hall, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Brasov, the County Council of Brasov and the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Romania.
