Prime Minister visits two local businesses in Ceadir-Lunga

Chisinau, July 4 /MOLDPRES/- On a visit to Ceadir-Lunga municipality, Prime Minister Dorin Recean today visited Banzai factory for packaging and marketing sunflower seeds, peanuts and other snacks. The company also produces biscuits and currently employs about 250 people at the factory, the government's communication department has reported.

Company's founder Haralampi Meraji launched the business in 2007, selling sunflower seeds. Gradually, the company has expanded and is now one of the largest producers on the market, with growing exports to the European Union, especially Romania.

The Prime Minister also visited the Kazayak-vin winery in Cazaclia, Ceadir-Lunga district, which promotes local culture and traditions. They are recognized worldwide thanks to the innovative technologies used by the company and the constant control of the production process. Kazayak-vin is the largest exporter of Moldovan wine to the United States. Annually, the winery exports about 10 million bottles to 42 countries.

"Entrepreneurs from Ceadir-Lunga are building successful businesses, opening new jobs, and through the programs offered by the state, they manage to expand their markets and contribute to the country's economic growth," he said.
