The spirit of the Easter holidays and the traditions are being revived in Ialoveni through the organization of the first edition of Easter at Home music festival. The event, held on the second day of Easter, gathered residents and guests at Summer Theater in Huțuleuca sector—a place with profound symbolic significance.

Organized by Ialoveni city hall, the festival offered the public a diverse artistic program meant to unite generations through music, dance and tradition.

'The purpose of the festival is to bring back the old traditions of the inhabitants of Ialoveni. The city hall is committed to making the place where 'Village Dance' was organized 40 years ago a cultural attraction point for those living in this city and for visitors,' a source from the city hall told the agency.

The audience had the opportunity to listen to flutist Constantin Moscovici, while Ilie Valuță, the author of Ialoveni city's anthem, was present as a guest of honor. The entire festival was moderated by Rusalina Russu.

'Such events bring the community together. I was pleased to see people of different generations at the festival, which means there is continuity, that we still have roots, and that healthy shoots will grow. The event was attended by Mihail Stegarescu, who told young people how the dance was organized in his youth. It was a beautiful occasion for soul rest, a spiritual celebration for goodness and faith,' Ialoveni resident and journalist Rusalina Russu told MOLDPRES.

Through this event, Ialoveni demonstrates that traditions can be reborn even in modern spaces, becoming bridges between past and present, between village and city, between generations.
