Moldova-EU business forum to be organized in September
Moldova-EU business forum is set to be organized in September to strengthen trade relations and encourage new economic partnerships.
The announcement was made by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) after the institution's president, Sergiu Harea, participated in a meeting in Brussels with Marta Kos, European Commissioner for Enlargement. The event was attended by the president of Eurochambres, Vladimir Dlouhy, and leaders of the Chambers of Commerce from Turkey, Ukraine, Georgia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia & Herzegovina, and Kosovo.
Discussions focused on the challenges and opportunities facing businesses in countries undergoing the accession process, as well as the need to strengthen public-private dialogue and effective communication regarding the European integration process.
Marta Kos expressed willingness to support the organization of Moldova-EU business forum in September 2025, aimed at strengthening trade relations and encouraging new economic partnerships.
During the meeting, the CCI president expressed gratitude for the continued support offered by the European Union to our country. Additionally, Sergiu Harea proposed the creation of a program dedicated to Chambers of Commerce from candidate countries, to facilitate the exchange of best practices with similar institutions from EU member states, particularly from countries that have recently undergone the accession process.
