VIDEO // Advantages of integration into European financial market explained by BNM
Moldova's integration into the European financial system transforms citizens' experiences concerning financial services. It enables faster, cheaper and safer international transfers, extends access to financial services within the EU area and provides real financial freedom, whether you're employed abroad, have relatives in another country, or manage a business.
The advantages of integration into the European financial market were presented by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM) in a new video, dedicated to the free movement of capital, a key chapter in the negotiations for Moldova's accession to the European Union, coordinated by the central bank.
BNM governor Anca Dragu said that by harmonizing legislation and modernizing financial infrastructure, the central bank creates the necessary premises for citizens and businesses to benefit from faster transfers, reduced costs and extended access to financial services in the European area.
BNM coordinates three important negotiation chapters in Moldova's accession to the European Union: free movement of capital; financial services; economic and monetary policy.
