VIDEO Government: On Europe Day we celebrate peace, solidarity, European path of Moldova

Members of the Cabinet of Ministers explained what the European Union means for the Republic of Moldova.

In the opinion of the Government members in Chisinau,

Europe means:

safe roads;
support for local businesses;
access to European markets;
equal opportunities for all.

Europe means:

a common space where we maintain our identity and make it known to the world;
better schools;
modern hospitals;
real opportunities for a safe and sustainable energy future.

Europe means:

a greener and cleaner Moldova;
agricultural modernization;
support for local communities.

“Let's bring the law closer to people and services closer to citizens. The Republic of Moldova is taking determined steps forward. Because Moldova can. Our choice is clear: the European Union”, the ministers said.
