Moldovan President on World Children's Day
Happy Children's Day, dear children! May you have a joyful childhood alongside your parents and grandparents! We adults will ensure the sky above you is always clear, says the message from the President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu on World Children's Day.
The event is celebrated today in the Republic of Moldova. On this occasion, the authorities have prepared several activities that will take place in the capital and throughout the country's localities.

On 1 June, children, along with their families, are expected at the State Residence in Condrița, starting at 11:00 AM. The celebration of childhood will unfold in a natural setting and will feature educational, cultural, and recreational activities.
Throughout the area, several thematic zones will be set up. The "Bon Appetit" zone will offer a selection of snacks, including Moldovan pies, ice cream, cotton candy, and other traditional products. In "Happy Courtyard," children can participate in educational workshops, recycling activities, tree planting, painting, and interactive experiments. In the "Rescue Mission" zone, children will witness demonstrations of specialized vehicles and technical equipment from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, interact with intervention teams, and take part in themed games alongside firefighters.
The event is celebrated in accordance with the Declaration of the Rights of the Child, adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in 1959.
