Parliamentary elections. Citizens can declare new residence to be registered in list according to place of residence

Citizens eligible to vote, who have changed their residence can declare the new address at the local public administration authority. It is necessary to be registered in the main electoral list at the polling station corresponding to the place of residence.

According to the Central Electoral Commission, through this procedure, the voter will be registered in the electoral list corresponding to the place of residence, with the mention Declaration of Residence in the Note section. 

When submitting the declaration, the voter will present the identity document for confirmation. The registrar will make the necessary remarks in the State Voter Registry and issue a receipt confirming the declaration of the new place of residence.

The deadline for submitting declarations is at least 25 days before the election, that is 3 September 2025. The submitted declaration is only valid for a single election. 

The parliamentary elections will take place on September 28.
