
Prime Minister congratulated National Anti-Corruption Center employees on anniversary
Prime Minister Dorin Recean conveyed a congratulatory message on the 23rd anniversary of the establishment of the National Anti-Corruption Center (CNA). He highlighted the importance of the institution's role in preventing and combating corruption in the Republic of Moldova.
He appreciated the CNA progress in recent times and encouraged the continuation of efforts to ensure a functional rule of law, where institutions work efficiently and corruption is punished without exceptions.
“In real progress against corruption, quality matters more than reported numbers and charts. Actions matter more than statements. Concrete results matter that lead to a state cleansed of corruption, with fair institutions and a society that feels safe and trusts the state's ability to deliver justice,” he said.
Moreover, in the context of Moldova's commitment to European integration, the official emphasized the need for continuous modernization of mechanisms for preventing and combating corruption and cooperation between responsible institutions.
At the end, the official awarded Government Honorary Diplomas to some CNA employees in recognition of the merits and contributions to the fight against corruption.
