Moldovan parliament speaker meets more Moldovan business owners in Germany
Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu has met representatives of the business community from the Moldovan Diaspora in Germany. At the same time, the official was invited to participate in this year's edition of the "Dor Călător" festival in Potsdam, an event that brings together Diaspora representatives around Moldova’s national traditions, music and values.
The invitation came from the Moldovan-German association "Dor Călător."
"I arrived in Potsdam, where I will participate in the 'Dor Călător' festival organized by the community of Moldovans from this region, led by businessman Alexei Baraboi. I had the opportunity to meet a group of Moldovan entrepreneurs who arrived in Germany a few years ago and started from the scratch. Yet, through much hard work and perseverance, they developed successful businesses in construction, transport and logistics, which they are now expanding throughout Germany," emphasized Igor Grosu.
The speaker invited Moldovans from Germany to invest in businesses back home, where they will have the full support of the state.
"I was delighted to meet them and to see how well informed they are about the situation in Moldova. In the context, I invited them to come and invest at home, where they will enjoy every support of the state. I was once again convinced that our Moldovans, through hard work and perseverance, succeed wherever they are, are respected and through their achievements, they are the best ambassadors of our country," Igor Grosu said.
Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu is currently on a working visit to the German Bundestag. The speaker on 6 June met President of the German Bundestag Julia Klöckner.
The visit's agenda also includes discussions with President of the German-Moldovan Forum, Johannes Schraps and the Moldovan Diaspora in Germany.
