
PM at Moldova-EU Association Council meeting
Prime Minister Dorin Recean is leading the delegation of the Republic of Moldova at the 9th meeting of Moldova-EU Association Council on June 3-4. Government spokesperson Daniel Vodă said that the Prime Minister will discuss with our partners in the European Union about the pace of reforms, the results already achieved, and concrete steps that bring us closer to our strategic goal: full integration into the EU.

It is an ambitious agenda that brings stability, investments, and direct benefits for the citizens of the Republic of Moldova,” stated Daniel Vodă.
The meeting will focus on progress made by Moldova on the path to European Union accession, Moldovan-European bilateral relations, with a focus on political dialogue and reforms, cooperation in the field of foreign and security policy, as well as economic and sectorial cooperation, especially in the areas of energy and trade-related issues.
The official will have meetings with several European commissioners and will participate in a public event on the importance of the Growth Plan for Moldova in boosting the economy and advancing the European integration process.
The Association Council is chaired by Recean, while the European Union Delegation will be led by the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, with the participation of the European Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement, Marta Kos.
The delegation traveling to Brussels also includes Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian, Deputy Prime Minister Doina Nistor, Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization, Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Bolea, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, Minister of Justice Veronica Mihailov-Moraru, Minister of Energy Dorin Junghietu and Minister of Environment Sergiu Lazarencu.
