
Moldovan parliament speaker has farewell meetings with three ambassadors ending mandates in Moldova
Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu has had farewell meetings with three ambassadors who are concluding their mandates in Moldova. It is about Ambassador of Germany Margret Uebber, Ambassador of Italy Lorenzo Tomassoni and Ambassador of Sweden Katarina Fried.
The speaker highlighted the cooperation between Moldova and Germany, Italy, and Sweden, which boosted in the terms of these three diplomats. “During these years of collaboration, we have managed to build quite strong relationships with Germany, Italy and Sweden, three countries that unequivocally support our European path and help us advance our accession agenda through concrete actions,” emphasized Igor Grosu.
At the same time, the parliament speaker wished the three diplomats success in their future missions and expressed hope that they would remain supporters of the Europeanization and modernization of Moldova.
