President Maia Sandu has had a meeting with Her Majesty Margareta, Custodian of the Romanian Crown, and His Royal Highness Prince Radu, on a visit to Chisinau. During the discussions, the projects of the Romanian Royal Family in Moldova were reviewed, especially in the fields of education, investments’ stimulation and promoting the country's accession to the European Union. The Moldovan president expressed her gratitude for the constant support on behalf of the Royal Family, which, through its diplomatic activity, contributes to strengthening the image of Moldova in European capitals.
The head of state welcomed the results of the most recent edition of the Moldovan-Romanian Economic Forum, held under the patronage of the Royal House, highlighting that this event provided a concrete platform for expanding economic cooperation and attracting investments in Moldova. At the same time, the parties agreed to boost collaboration that further brings together communities on both banks of the Prut River.
President Maia Sandu, Her Majesty Margareta, and His Royal Highness Prince Radu reaffirmed their joint commitment to support Moldova's efforts to become a member state of the European Union. The Royal House stays a dedicated supporter of the country's European path and a reliable partner in promoting the special relationship between Moldova and Romania.
