Speaker held farewell meeting with Director of Swiss Cooperation Office
Speaker Igor Grosu held a farewell meeting with Director of the Swiss Cooperation Office Guido Beltrani.
Igor Grosu thanked him for all the support that our country has enjoyed from Switzerland for more than 25 years. Over the years, this support has taken shape in concrete projects for citizens, such as access to water and sewerage services, waste management, the development of mental health centers and modern centers for the treatment of strokes, as well as services intended for refugees.
The Speaker also expressed gratitude for the implementation of the PADEM project, through which Switzerland supports the modernization of processes in Parliament – better organization, more efficient communication, and modern equipment that increases the transparency of parliamentary activity.
As a sign of appreciation for his contribution to strengthening cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and Switzerland, Igor Grosu awarded Guido Beltrani the Democracy Medal on behalf of Parliament and wished him success in the next stage of his professional career.
