China proposes deepening defense cooperation with Moldova, in the name of peace, development

The People's Liberation Army of China is ready to deepen exchanges and cooperation with the National Army of Moldova, jointly contributing to the promotion of international peace and development. The message was conveyed during a reception organized by the Embassy of China in Chisinau, on the occasion of the 99th anniversary of the founding of the People's Liberation Army of China.

Approximately 120 guests attended the event, including Ambassador of China to Moldova Dong Zhihua, Defense Attaché Han Jiangchuan and other diplomats of the embassy, representatives of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of the Defense of Moldova, diplomats and military attachés accredited in Chisinau, as well as representatives of civil society.

In his speech, Defense Attaché Han Jiangchuan emphasized that the People's Liberation Army of China is the people's army, founded and led by the Communist Party of China, and that in recent years, under the leadership of President Xi Jinping, China had promoted the modernization of its national defense and armed forces.

"China's army is willing to deepen exchanges and cooperation with the army of Moldova, jointly contributing to the promotion of the cause of international peace and development," said Han Jiangchuan.

According to him, the process of modernizing the Chinese army is an important element of the strategy to strengthen defense capabilities and maintain stability.

During the reception, the guests watched a presentation film and a photo exhibition dedicated to the development of the People's Liberation Army of China, as well as to the commemoration of the 90th anniversary of the victory of the Long March of the Workers' and Peasants' Red Army.
