
Her Majesty Margareta, Prince Radu on visit to Chișinău
Her Majesty Margareta, Crown Custodian and His Royal Highness Prince Radu are on a visit to Chișinău on 6-7 April. The visit is dedicated to the economic development of the Republic of Moldova, cooperation between the two countries and strengthening Moldova's European path.
At Chișinău International Airport, Her Majesty and the Prince were welcomed by Romanian Ambassador to Chișinău Cristian-Leon Țurcanu.
President Maia Sandu received them at the State Residence. The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Dorin Recean and his wife Stela Recean, Inga Grosu, the wife of speaker Igor Grosu, along with Ambassador Cristian-Leon Țurcanu and Emilia-Delia Drăgulescu.
This is the 22nd visit of the Royal Family to the Republic of Moldova in the last two decades. In recent years, King Mihai, Custodian of the Crown Margareta, Prince Radu, Princess Sofia and Princess Maria have visited Chișinău, Bălți, Orhei, Soroca, Ialoveni and many other localities around the country.
