Moldovan PM on Russian ballistic missile attack on Sumy
Prime Minister Dorin Recean conveyed a message condemning the missile attack on Ukrainian city, Sumy, which resulted in over 20 casualties.
He condemned the atrocities committed by the Russian army. "Today Russia attacked the center of Sumy, eastern Ukraine, with ballistic missiles. More than 20 victims are already reported, including children. There are no justifications for such attacks, and we once again condemn the atrocities committed by Kremlin regime in Ukraine. This unjust war must be stopped, and Ukraine must have a just peace," Recean said.
Messages about the tragedy in Sumy also came from the country's president and speaker Igor Grosu. The officials reiterated that the Republic of Moldova reaffirms its strong support for Ukraine's independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity and remains committed to defending peace and democratic values in the region.
