Ukrainian President: Elections showed that Russia's destabilizing activity losing, while Moldova in Europe winning
These elections showed that Russia's destabilizing activity is losing, while Moldova in Europe is winning. The message was conveyed today by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in the context of the results obtained in the parliamentary elections in the Republic of Moldova.
The official emphasized that it is important that Moldova successfully defended itself against threats, along with all those who helped.
“I have spoken with the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu. I was delighted to congratulate her on a very important victory and to wish her success. These elections showed that Russia's destabilizing activity is losing, while Moldova in Europe is winning. Russian subversion, constant disinformation – none of these worked. It is important that Moldova successfully defended itself against threats, along with all those who helped,” said Volodymyr Zelensky.
The President of Ukraine assured that his country will always support the Republic of Moldova.
“We will continue to work together. Together, we overcome challenges and build a future where our peoples have solid prospects – in security, in the economy, and thus in social life,” affirmed Zelensky.
