Representatives of the Environmental Agency participated yesterday in a workshop on digital policy readiness organized by the World Bank as part of the Moldova – Growth, Resilience and Opportunities for Welfare (M-GROW) Program.
The event took place at the World Bank headquarters in Chisinau and gathered representatives from the State Chancellery, the Economic Council, the Electronic Governance Agency, the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, the Environmental Agency and the National Food Safety Agency.
The main objective of the workshop was to assess and strengthen the level of digital readiness of public policies to promote modern, efficient, and transparent governance, adapted to current challenges.
The workshop concluded with presentations of conclusions formulated by the groups, followed by an applied discussion on necessary legislative amendments and next steps. In this context, the importance of collaboration with representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization (MDED) was highlighted, along with the necessary legal support for updating the regulatory framework.
