Over 800 teams registered for EuroQuiz 2026: final to take place in Chisinau on 8 May
Over 800 teams of students from Moldova have registered for the EuroQuiz 2026 competition, which begins this week with the school stage. Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov has made statements to this effect.
“Over 800 teams from all over the country have registered for EuroQuiz 2026. Each team is made up of six students and has a coordinating teacher,” the official said.
According to her, the competition stages will take place on the coming period, starting with the school stage, followed by the district stage, scheduled for 24 April.
“This week, the school stage of the competition will take place, and on 24 April the district stage will be organized. The winning teams will meet on 8 May at the Palace of the Republic, in order to compete in the grand final of EuroQuiz Moldova 2026,” Cristina Gherasimov specified.
The winning team will be awarded a study visit to Brussels.
“The winners of the final will go on a study visit to Brussels. I wish you all the best of luck!” the deputy PM added.
EuroQuiz is a competition dedicated to students that promotes knowledge about the European Union and European values and is organized in Moldova annually.
