Speaker’s Easter greetings to Moldovans everywhere: Easter unites us, wherever we may be
Speaker Igor Grosu delivered Easter greeting at the start of today’s plenary session of the parliament. He sent his best wishes to Moldovans at home and abroad, emphasizing the importance of this holiday for national identity and unity.
“Easter unites us, it reminds us who we are and what truly binds us, wherever we may be, in our villages or far away, abroad,” Grosu said.
The Speaker noted that Moldovans, regardless of where they are, preserve the same traditions, such as baking Easter cakes and dyeing eggs, as well as the desire to be together with their loved ones.
“May the light of the Resurrection bring us peace, courage and hope – so that we believe in ourselves and in the future of our country,”he said.
In conclusion, he extended to all citizens the wish: “Happy Easter holidays.”
