CSM plenum failed again today to elect president

Chisinau, July 1 /MOLDPRES/- Plenum of the Superior Council of Magistracy failed again today to elect a president. Two candidates Aliona Miron and Sergiu Caraman were on the ballot for the contest, but they requested time to prepare.
This morning the CSM plenum elected the commission to select the president of the council. It includes Ioana Chironeț, who will chair the commission, Maria Frunze, who will be secretary and Alexandru Postică.
On 28 June the CSM plenum failed to elect a president after candidates Ion Guzun and Vasile Șchiopu withdrew from the contest.
