Moldovagaz to buy gas at 366 euros per thousand cubic meters from Energocom in July

Chisinau, July 1 /MOLDPRES/- Moldovagaz announced today that the purchase price of natural gas from Energocom for July will be 366.34 euros per thousand cubic meters, compared to 349 euros in June.

"According to the contractual terms of natural gas purchase between Moldovagaz and Energocom, in July 2024 the purchase price will be 34.43 euros/MWh, equivalent to 366.34 euros per thousand cubic meters, or 7030.01 lei per thousand cubic meters (excluding VAT), based on the forecast higher calorific value of 10.64 kWh per cubic meter, and the respective exchange rate," Moldovagaz said.

The price was announced today after Energocom won the tender for gas supply for the current month, initiated by Moldovagaz on the electronic trading platform managed by BRM East Energy.

For June, the purchase price of natural gas from Energocom was 349.79 euros per thousand cubic meters, and for May - 331.22 euros.

Since May, tenders for the purchase of natural gas are conducted on the BRM East Energy platform.
