Exhibition of paintings by two Moldovan fine artists opened in Madrid
An exhibition titled, Femininity, an artistic project by painters Galina Vieru and Natalia Yampolskaia, is hosted by the Romanian Cultural Institute in Madrid. Designed as a space for reflection on the role of women in society and art, this exhibition invites viewers to rediscover femininity in all its complexity, as a symbol of strength, fragility, beauty and wisdom.
The works of the two artists provide distinct perspectives on the feminine essence, highlighting the uniqueness of female creativity.
Visual artist Galina Vieru said she had been warmly and openly received in Madrid.
“This exhibition is dedicated to celebrating women in the month of March. At the opening, we were greeted by warm people and the atmosphere was full of light and openness. We had an audience consisting of both Spaniards and Romanian speakers. At the same time, there were people who, visiting Madrid, saw the announcement of the exhibition I am participating in and came to visit me, which pleases me very much. Among the guests, there was Ambassador of Moldova, Mr. Revenco, who gave a speech. It was a great pleasure for me to have the director of the Romanian Cultural Institute in Madrid be there, along with representatives of the Romanian Embassy in Madrid. Various individuals interested in art Moldova were present,” the painter told MOLDPRES.
In the opinion of Natalia Yampolskaia, the woman is a symbol of peace and continuity. The painter's works reflect love, peace and eternity.
“Women bring peace and continuity and my paintings speak of love, peace and eternity,” said artist Natalia Yampolskaia.
The Femininity exhibition pays tribute to feminine creative strength and promises to provide visitors with a captivating visual experience, a chromatic dialogue about identity, emotion and artistic expressiveness.
The exhibition can be visited till March 28, 2025, at the Romanian Cultural Institute Gallery in Madrid.
