Cultural institutions, non-governmental organizations, artists and local initiative groups are encouraged to apply for the 2026 edition of the National Programme,  Access to Culture, launched by the Culture Ministry. The programme provides funding for projects aimed at developing and diversifying cultural life of Moldova.

The programme is meant for public cultural institutions at both central and local levels, NGOs active in the cultural field, individuals working in the sector, as well as community partnerships that propose cultural initiatives with local impact. Projects can cover a wide range of sectors, including literature, theater, music, visual arts, cinema, traditional crafts and the preservation and promotion of tangible and intangible cultural heritage.

Culture Minister Cristian Jardan encourages the submission of projects planned for implementation starting from next July, with applications to be submitted within 15 days from the launch of the call, both online and in hard copy. The total budget allocated for the 2026 edition is 15 million lei.

Eligible activities include organizing cultural events, festivals, traveling exhibitions, artistic tours and interactive educational programs, including intergenerational projects and initiatives that promote cultural values and community's engagement.

The National Programme, Access to Culture, is an initiative launched by Moldova’s Culture Ministry, aimed at backing and funding cultural projects at the national level, in order to develop cultural life in communities and facilitate public access to artistic events and activities.
