Moldova, Bulgaria to hold economic forum for new partnerships, investments in next autumn
Moldova and Bulgaria in next autumn will hold a joint economic forum in Chisinau, focused on three areas: the agri-food industry, information technologies, and energy. Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu has made statements to this effect, who today returned from his visit to Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria.
The PM emphasized that the topic had been discussed during his meeting with his Bulgarian counterpart Rumen Radev.
“I have returned from a one-day visit to Sofia. I had a very good meeting with Prime Minister of Bulgaria Rumen Radev and we agreed to organize in the autumn, in Chisinau, an economic forum focused on three areas: IT, the agri-food industry and projects in the energy sector, in which Bulgaria has specialized and where we can create and seek synergies between our companies and companies from Bulgaria,” said Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu.
At the same time, the PM announced that, in late June, Chisinau would host a new economic mission of MEDEF, the French business organization, which, according to the official, “will bring new partnerships.”
On June 10, Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu paid a visit to Sofia, to take part in the South-East European Cooperation Process (SEECP) Summit.
