Unannounced inspections at fuel stations: several consumers report possible non-compliance regarding diesel quality

The State Inspectorate for the Supervision of Non-Food Products and Consumer Protection (ISSPNPC) has ordered unannounced inspections at several fuel stations, after many consumers reported possible non-compliance regarding the quality of the diesel being sold.

ISSPNPC will verify compliance with the legal requirements on the quality of fuels placed on the market, in order to identify any potential non-compliance and apply the measures provided by the legislation, where appropriate.

The inspections were initiated after the Single Call Center for Consumers received phone calls in which consumers reported possible non-compliance regarding the quality of diesel sold at some fuel stations.

At the same time, several public video materials have been identified online and on social networks, posted by consumers, expressing similar dissatisfaction with the quality of diesel.
