European Commissioner discovers Moldovan culture in Brussels
European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos recently participated in an event organized by the Moldovan diaspora in Brussels, aimed at promoting Moldovan culture and traditions.
Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov highlighted that this moment was an excellent opportunity for the European official to closely discover the authentic values and tastes of our country.
“It was a good opportunity for the European Commissioner for Enlargement to discover our culture, traditions and home flavors. We baked pies together with Marta Kos, as part of a gathering organized by the two Moldovan journalists from Maison du MediaLab project and our diaspora in Brussels,” said Cristina Gherasimov.
Gherasimov emphasized that Marta Kos is warmly welcomed in Chisinau to learn more about Moldova's culture and traditions.
Marta Kos will be visiting the Republic of Moldova in May. The official made the statement in Brussels at a meeting with the Moldovan delegation participating in the bilateral screening with the European Union.
