Adrian Balutel steps down as head of Moldovan president's office to serve as member of new parliament
Adrian Balutel has announced his resignation from the position of head of the Moldovan President's Office, in order to serve as a member of the new parliament. Following the September 28 elections, he was elected lawmaker on the list of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS).
Thus, Adrian Balutel emphasized that October 31 would be his last day as head of the President's Office.
“789 days as head of the president's office. Mrs. Maia Sandu, thank you for each of these days - for the trust, opportunity and all lessons learned. I thank the colleagues of the government, parliament and public administration for their excellent cooperation and constant support. I am grateful to partners, civil society’s representatives, the private sector, and the press for the openness and constructive dialogue over these years. A special note of gratitude to colleagues at the Presidency - everything we achieved, we achieved together, as a united team. Dear colleagues and friends, October 31 will be my last day as head of the President's Office. Starting from November 1, I will continue my work as a deputy in the parliament of Moldova,” said Adrian Balutel.
Adrian Balutel held the position of head of the President's Office starting from September 4, 2023. Previously, he served as State Secretary of the State Chancellery.
