
Judge Natalia Bondarenco appointed member of Moldova's Superior Council of Magistracy
Judge Natalia Bondarenco today was appointed as member of the Superior Council of Magistracy (CSM). The decision was taken at the General Assembly of Judges.
Bondarenco passed the external evaluation of ethical and financial integrity, conducted by the independent Commission for evaluating the integrity of candidates for the position at the judicial self-administration body.
After approving the list which included Natalia Bondarenco's candidacy, the General Assembly of Judges established the Special Commission for organizing the elections for the judiciary system's representative in the CSM.
Following the election process, Judge Natalia Bondarenco from the Southern Court of Appeal was elected member of the CSM. She received 155 votes from the judges.
An ordinary meeting of the General Assembly of Judges is held at the Palace of the Republic from Chisinau today. Two key topics are on the agenda: the presentation of the report on the activities of the Superior Council of Magistracy regarding the organization and work of the judiciary system in 2024 and the election of a new CSM member.
The convening of the General Assembly was decided by the CSM Plenum Decision from February 11, 2025.
