Moldovan Socialists' leader says not to allow destabilizations, strictly against concerned scenarios
The leader of the Party of Socialists (PSRM), Igor Dodon, thanked the citizens for their active participation in the election and invited them to a peaceful protest in outside the parliament building on September 29. According to him, it will be a demonstration without party flags and slogans, with an open microphone. He assured that the bloc he is a member of was against mass destabilizations.
"We will not allow destabilizations. We are strictly against these scenarios. Do not provoke people. This government is leaving. Do not fulfill illegal orders," said Igor Dodon.
He said that the present government was not satisfied with the voting results in the Diaspora and acknowledged that this was partly due to the massive presence of opposition representatives abroad.
In this regard, he urged citizens to stay calm and authorities to be responsible.
"The elections are practically over. Citizens have expressed their opinion, which must be respected," he said.
Igor Dodon noted that the representatives of the electoral bloc of the Socialists, Communists, and the Heart and Future of Moldova had noted some infringements which they are systematizing and would present on September 29.
"We have noticed the blocking of citizens' rights, including those on the left bank of the Dniester, who were not allowed to participate in the vote. Tomorrow, we will come with systematized information on the infringements," Igor Dodon also said.
