New local elections; Moldovan Central Electoral Commission approves electoral symbols of registered parties for printing on ballots

The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) today approved the electoral symbols of political parties registered as electoral competitors for the new local elections for printing on ballots.

According to the CEC, for this election, 12 candidates have been registered for the position of mayor and seven electoral competitors for the position of counselor in the local council.

On November 16, 2025, new local elections will be held in: the village of Ustia, Glodeni district, the commune of Natalievca, Falesti district, the commune of Cremenciug, Soroca district, the village of Bascalia, Basarabeasca district, the commune of Calinesti, Falesti district, and the city of Leova, Leova district.
