Lunara Toy, first interactive toy with artificial intelligence, to be presented to public in Moldova
A toy that can converse with children in real time will be presented in Moldova for the first time. Lunara Toy, an interactive toy based on artificial intelligence, can hold a dialogue with the child and provide adapted answers.
The idea for the project started from a simple question: why is artificial intelligence limited to apps and digital devices, when children naturally interact with the objects around them? The developers sought to create an experience that is closer to the authentic way, in which children communicate and express their emotions.
“Children don’t want to talk to apps. They talk to the world around them,” the project’s authors say.
One of the key features of the device is the ability to use the voices of parents or close family members. This way, the child can hear a familiar voice even when they are not around, which can help create a sense of safety and comfort.
The project is developed based on principles from child psychology, with the main goal of supporting emotional expression and providing a sense of support in everyday situations.
The toy will be available for testing at the Chisinau Arena on April 22, during a dedicated conference, where visitors will be able to interact directly with the device and notice how the technology works.
