Opportunities of strategic investments presented at Moldova – EU Conference, held in Chisinau on June 4

Key players from the business community, European institutions, public authorities and the international financial community on June 4 will assemble in Chisinau for the international investment conference, Moldova – European Union. The event aims to become a platform for analyzing opportunities of strategic investments between the European Union and Moldova.

The conference will be inaugurated by President Maia Sandu, European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos, and the Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu.

According to the Investments Agency, the event seeks to stimulate productive investments, strengthen EU–Moldova supply chains and accelerate economic convergence with the European market.

The conference programme includes high-level sessions, topic-related panels, sector-specific presentations and B2B meetings focused on developing concrete trade and investment partnerships.

The priority areas addressed at the conference are the capital market and financial instruments for investments; energy and the green transition; transport, logistics, and European connectivity; agrifood processing and rural investments; industry and integration into European value chains; innovation, digitalization, health and biotechnology.

The conference is organized by the government of Moldova and the European Commission, with the support of the Investments Agency and Economic Development and Digitalization Ministry, and marks one year since the launch of the Growth Plan for Moldova.
