Number of refusals of entry to France increases; Moldova's Embassy in Paris announces documents needed to be presented at border
Moldovan citizens who intend to travel to France are urged to comply with the entry conditions set by the French authorities. This recommendation is made in the context of an increase in refusals of entry to France.
In the context, the Embassy of Moldova in Paris presents to citizens the necessary documents that will be checked at the French border. They include: a valid biometric passport, a round-trip plane ticket, medical insurance valid for the entire stay, proof of accommodation or the host person’s details, proof of financial resources – cash, bank cards, scholarship or guarantee letters.
Additional documents, as applicable: confirmation from the hospital (for medical treatment), invitation letter (for private visits, conferences, professional meetings), confirmation from the educational institution (for study visits).
Minimum level of financial resources per day: with a certificate of accommodation – 32.50 euros, with a hotel reservation – 65 euros and without a hotel reservation or proof of accommodation – 120 euros.
