
Police on alert in north Moldova district: 75-year-old woman sought with drones, volunteers
The police from Edinet, along with locals, foresters and hunters, continue the search for a 75-year-old woman from the village of Alexandreni, who disappeared on October 5 at noon while picking mushrooms in a forest nearby the village of Brinzeni.
According to the Police, although more people and drones are involved, authorities say that additional forces are needed and they are calling on citizens to join the search efforts.
The law-enforcement officials have also announced the woman's physical description: height – 1.55–1.60 m, medium build. She was dressed in a gray sweater, black pants, black shoes, and wore a red and blue scarf.
