
Comrat Industrial College to be built with support of Turkey
Chisinau, 9 September /MOLDPRES/- Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlüt Çavușoğlu will participate in the start of the construction works of the Industrial College in Comrat. The issue was announced during a discussion with governor of Gagauzia Irina Vlah.
During the telephone conversation, the details of the Turkish official's participation in starting the construction works of the College financed by the Government of the Republic of Turkey were finalized.
The Industrial College will be named after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and the concept of the institution was negotiated by Vlah in Ankara in late 2019.
Among the priorities of the new college in Comrat will be the training of specialists in information systems and technologies. The Technical University of Moldova will delegate qualified teachers to support the first stages of the activity of the educational institution from Gagauzia, and the College of Engineering from Straseni will provide the exchange of experience and consulting the staff of the new educational institution in Comrat.
