Works of construction of Comrat city's bypass road carried out at level of 85 per cent

Chisinau, 29 June /MOLDPRES/ - The works of construction of the bypass road of the Comrat city (administrative centre of the Gagauzia Autonomous Territorial Unit) have been carried out at the level of about 85 per cent.

According to the State Administration of Roads (ASD), the road segment has an overall length of more than 18 km.

Presently, the Turkish entrepreneur carries out works of construction of embankments and drainage systems, putting the layer of wear and binder, setting the metal parapet and tracing the illumination cable. The entrepreneur took commitment to fully finish the contractual works till late next August.

The contract on the building of the Comrat city’s bypass road has a total value of 29.4 million euros, provided to Moldova’s government as loan by the European Investment Bank.
