As many as 968 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 30 October /MOLDPRES/ -A number of 3,463 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 968 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which four import ones. As many as 75,201 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.  

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 50 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians –15, medical assistants –23, auxiliary staff – 12.

The health condition of the people hit is as follows: 789 are in serious condition, of whom 40 patients are connected to assisted breathing; 1,423 patients are in medium seriousness condition, while the other patients are in satisfactory condition

In the context, 6,322 people are treated at home with easy forms of COVID-19 and 24,163 are under supervision at the domicile. 

Another 695 persons were treated and discharged from hospitals. As many as 55,190 people have been healed of COVID-19 in all.  

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 19 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and there are 1,766 people dead of coronavirus in all.
