Moldovan PM, Chinese Ambassador discuss concrete benefits for citizens brought by collaboration between two states

Economic cooperation, investments and the expansion of Moldovan-Chinese commercial partnerships have been the main topics of discussion at a meeting  between Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu and Chinese Ambassador Zhihua Dong. According to the data, there are 81 companies with Chinese capital operating in Moldova.

In discussions, the officials expressed interest in expanding cooperation in tourism, increasing cultural exchanges and academic collaboration between the two countries. The Moldovan government has recently approved the signing of a Cooperation Agreement on teaching the Chinese language in our country's educational institutions.

Officials spoke about the largest photovoltaic park in Moldova, located in Criuleni, which is a Chinese investment worth 4 million euros. Moreover, the parties emphasized interest in expanding commercial and economic cooperation.

The main Moldovan products sold in China are wines, ethyl alcohol, yarns, cables, and measuring or control equipment and machines. Additionally, Moldova exports grape seed and sunflower seed flour to China.
