Paid internships in public service of Moldova, at new edition: 146 internship positions in 48 public authorities
The joint internship programme of the European Union and the government of Moldova today was officially launched at the Ion Creanga State Pedagogical University from Chisinau. At the edition 6.1, there are 146 internship positions available in 48 public authorities.
The event was attended by Finance Minister Andrian Gavrilita and Laura Bretea, Head of the Policy and Enlargement Team at the Moldova Unit, DG NEAR, who spoke about the work of the authorities and encouraged young people to take advantage of the opportunities provided by the Paid Public Service Internship Programme. Former interns, who are now employed in the public sector, also shared their experience.
The period of application for the current edition is May 1-15, 2026, and files must be submitted via https://cariere.gov.md/ro/internship.
The internships are carried out within the Moldovan parliament’s secretariat, the Office of the President of Moldova, the State Chancellery, ministries and the administrative authorities subordinated to them, central administrative authorities subordinated to the government and autonomous public authorities. Candidates may submit the participation form simultaneously to up to five host authorities.
Interns will receive a non-taxable monthly scholarship paid by the host authority. For 2026, the amount of the scholarship is 3,500 lei.
